Can you see into the future that has past and laugh at the mistakes you are about to make?

A rather rare piece of truly personal art. The cheshire cat is a powerful symbol for me and has very recently come crashing into my life full force. I won't elaborate on that, but this is an image that got stuck in my head and wouldn't leave me alone. I'd like to do some painting practice with this image, try it in a bunch of different colors.
