Just a very quick sketch to tease my husband. I'm kind of a packrat and one of the things I have that drives him most crazy is a little furry jackalope I bought in the SW years ago. He wants me to throw it away, but it just keeps ending up various places in the house. ;)

My parents have a similar tradition: The Toe-Sock Chicken, a bizarre, rainbow-barred chicken made out of a pair of toe-socks in a nasty alleyway in Chicago. It's traveled with my parents from house to house from Chicago to Ft Worth to Columbus to Raleigh for almost twenty years, often hidden for the effect of surprise in someone's clothes drawer or compartment of the car or cabinet. Grody little thing, but it's got history :P
